# Shonen Math

[Canonical page](https://www.mohtasham.dev/work/archive/shonen-math)

Semi-serious LaTeX papers that treat anime powers as mathematical and scientific systems.

2026. Private project. Role: Writer and developer.

Shonen Math is where I take anime abilities too seriously. Each paper starts with one power, gives it a compact technical model, and keeps the joke understandable in a sentence.

The first volume models Domain Expansion as a bounded game, alchemy as constrained optimization, and shadow clones as parallel compute with delayed synchronization.

The papers share one LaTeX style, notation file, and bibliography. TikZ diagrams carry the explanation, while a small Python check catches broken sources before pdflatex does.

## Facts

- Finished papers: 3.

- Anime systems modelled: 3.

- Shared LaTeX style: 1.

## How it works

1. Pick a power: Start with an ability that has an interesting rule.

2. State the thesis: Reduce the idea to one technical claim.

3. Build the model: Define the variables, constraints, and diagrams.

4. Typeset: Write the paper in the shared LaTeX system.

5. Check: Run source checks and compile the final PDF.
